AccuPort is essentially a tourism portal. Typically this product is used in ‘Areas’ ie Towns, Counties, Regions Islands and Countries which contain many Tourism Providers. These tend to be dynamic/constantly changing websites, as a key feature is the Content Management System that Providers can access to add their content. Ie Entertainment, Events and Special Offers.
The website itself is supported by a Database which provides the following features.

Site Administrators
1. A ‘Site Level’ Administrator can control all the content on the site using a password protected Content Management System ie adding Tourism Providers, Entertainment, Events and News.
2. Tourism Providers categories can be edited by the Administrator.
3. An Administrator can ‘decide which of their Providers can add content ‘directly’ to the site and which ones need approval.
4. Administrators decide who can use Book Online and who can use the Special Offers Program
Tourism Providers ie Hotels
1. Tourism Providers with a business listing on the site can access and edit their details online via a password protected Content Management System.
2. Tourism Providers can use their password to add Special Offers to the website.
3. Tourism Providers can upload Brochures to their listing and add Entertainment and Events.
4. Tourism Providers can use an integrated Booking Engine to sell Rooms and Packages online.
Most importantly all information added to the site can be provided to 3rd party websites as XML feeds.

Customer Comments
“ We learnt very early on that a good website should have product and content. Product meant training Tourism Providers to create packages and offer them online through the site. The next phase will see this extend beyond simply rooms into other areas such as Golf and Walking. Soon, whatever your tourism needs, you will be able to buy them on www.donegaldirect.com”
